James Malamas

I am James Malamas, play-by-play broadcaster at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. I am the voice of Lumberjack’s women’s basketball, soccer and volleyball. During my 5 years at NAU Athletics, I have called over 170 events on ESPN+. Along with TV broadcasts, I have traveled with women's basketball to broadcast 4 postseason tournaments on the radio. In addition, I am the color commentator for all home men's basketball games.

Outside of broadcasting, I am also a digital production assistant. I work replay for the in-house production of all home football games. I also work on the creative side, shooting and editing green-screen, personality and intro videos.
